Emotionen, das ist der Stoff, aus dem nicht nur Ballett-Träume sind, sondern auch Ballett-Leben. Allen voran die Liebe natürlich, die sich im Fall von Tigran Mikayelyans Eltern als eine ebenso stürmische wie dramatische Himmelsmacht entpuppte. Denn Mutter Susanna war gerade einmal 16 Jahre alt, als sie schwanger wurde. Sie war hoffnungsfrohe Elevin der Eriwaner Ballettschule und evozierte eine hohe Erwartungshaltung an eine künftige Karriere als Primaballerina.
Emotions are not only the stuff ballet dreams are made on but also ballet lives. Of course and above all love – that in the case of Tigran Mikayelyan's parents proved a celestial power just as stormy as dramatic. For his mother Susanna was mere sixteen, when she became pregnant. She was a promising student at the Yerevan ballet school and gave grounds to high expectations in a prospective career as prima ballerina. Susanna was preparing for her final exam that, however, she could not do in these „expecting” conditions.
